International Airports:

  1. 150 km: Geneva, Switzerland (GVA / LSGG) Geneva International Airport.
    Big Airport with direct train connection to Neuchâtel that takes around 1:20 hours.
  2. 151 km: Zurich, Switzerland (ZRH / LSZH) Zurich Airport.
    Big Airport with direct train connection to Neuchâtel that takes around 1:30 hours.
  3. 127 km: Saint-Louis, France (EAP / LFSB) EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg.
    A bus ride of 20 minutes from the Euroairport Basel takes you to the train station Basel. From there the train takes around 1:10 hours to Neuchâtel.
  4. 66 km: Bern, Switzerland (BRN / LSZB) Bern Airport.

The climate of Neuchatel in September is mild with average temperatures of 12-20 °C (57 to 67 °F), mostly sunny and just slightly wet.
